    Job Summary:


    WaferTech, a TSMC Company, has an opportunity for a forward looking, goal oriented and results driven individual to join our team in the role of Product Engineer.  As a Product Engineer you have ownership of and are responsible for sustaining and improving current product yield and processes in the Fab as well as transferring new products and technologies.  In addition, you have the responsibility to work with customer to provide product technical support. Responsibilities range from continuous yield enhancement, process improvement; product and process transfer and qualification, process window optimization and customer technical support.  This is a dynamic work environment where changes in product demand and Fab requirements often impact project schedules. This is an exempt level position where additional work hours may be requested at times and the position requires carrying a pager and responding swiftly.  Excellent teamwork and problem solving skills are critical, as well as demonstration of WaferTech’s four core values; Integrity, Customer Partnership, Innovation, and Commitment.

    Responsibilities:


    • Yield enhancement

    •  Device characterization and control

    • Process flow optimization

    • Report creation and presentation

    • Effectively work with Fab engineers to maintain and improve product performance

    • Work with customers to provide technical support

    Requirements:


    • Strong background in CMOS device physics and process integration

    • Familiarity with device characterization methods and tools

    • Strong problem solving skills

    • Attention to detail

    • Understanding of process flow for semiconductor environment.

    • Ability to work effectively with group members and across department lines.

    • Motivation to foster continuous improvement in your team, department, and company.

    • Skilled with MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.

    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    • Flexibility

    • Desire to contribute to WaferTech’s objective of being the number one Fab in the TSMC  family

     

    Years of Related Experience/Educational Preferences:


    • Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or comparable degree)

    • Direct experience with device and process integration is preferred, but not required.

    •  New college graduates are encouraged to apply.

    • Must be able to work in the US.  No H1 VISA sponsorship is provided for this position.
