    Job Summary:


    WaferTech is searching for a forward looking, goal oriented and results driven individuals for the role of Sr. Etch Equipment Engineer.  As an Sr. Equipment Engineer you are responsible for tool ownership of AMAT Etch platforms and will perform long/short term tools performance improvement projects.  Your experience will be used to guide all technicians and junior engineers to complete their assignments.  Opportunities to assist the section manager to perform project management and set-up improvement systems on Etch tools will be available.  This is an exempt position with M-F, 8-5 schedule with additional work hours requested at times.     Responsibilities:


    • Work closely with vendors, PE, MFG, equipment technicians and other tool owners to improve the overall area/tool performance.

    • Perform advance problem solving to different etching tool sets.

    • Mentor Jr. Engineers and Technicians.

    • Perform as a task force leader when needed.

    • Review all quality systems.

    • Tool CIP.

    • Cost control and reduction.

    Requirements:


    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

    • Advanced computer skills. (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.)

    • A strong understanding of Etch semiconductor equipment and process is preferred.

    • Strong problem solving skills and troubleshooting knowledge (electrical and mechanical) of Etch platform..

    • Detail-oriented and self-motivated individual.

    • Team player with ability to coach and mentor junior engineers and technicians.

    • Strong project management and execution skill.

    Years of Related Experience/Educational Preferences:


    • BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent field of study.

    • 6+ years of semiconductor experience on AMAT Etch tools.
