Job Summary:
The Testing
Hardware Engineer
is responsible
for sustaining, improvement, troubleshooting and maintenance in the Test and WAT
areas including equipment, probe cards and programs. WaferTech is a fast paced semiconductor
manufacturing environment. This position will work closely with the applications
engineering group to implement modifications and improvements to the programs or
equipment as well as assist in experiments and trials. Requires working in
a cleanroom wearing protective eyewear, special suit and gloves. Shift overlap and
shift re-assignment to meet changing business requirements will occur.

Responsibilities:
-
Repair,
preventative maintenance and production support of automatic test equipment
and associate tools such as Advantest, Teradyne, Agilent and Credence testers,
wafer probers such as Electroglas, and TEL, work stations, probe cards,
laser repair, ovens temp cycle chambers and calibration of instruments.

Production
sustaining duty, overkill control and reduction.

Authoring of
OI/SOP/PN/OCAP and PM/ (preventative maintenance) documents.

Probe card
maintenance, repair and design/build management.

Equipment
automation and optimization.
-
New equipment and
test program evaluation, installation and sustaining.

Spare parts
tracking and utilization analysis and parts/material consumption control.
Requirements:
-
Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of electronics
-
Familiarity with multiple operating
systems such as Unix, MS Windows and others.

Strong technical writing and
documentation skills.

Able to work with little
supervision and tenacity to ensure completion of projects and duties.

Self-motivated and adaptable at
immediate schedule changes - highly flexible in working hours and duties.

Positive teamwork skills and
contributions and the
ability to take direction from multiple sources.
Years of Related
Experience/Educational Preferences:
-
Bachelors degree or
above in
Electrical, Computer or Mechanical engineering is required.

Maintenance
experience in a semiconductor Test, Fab environment or other similar experience
(Integrated circuit manufacturing, assembly) is a plus.
