    WaferTech, a TSMC Company, has an opening for a Supervising Production Engineer in our Manufacturing group.   As a Supervising Production Engineer you supervise and direct the activities of Production Specialists on a 12-hour shift.  You should be willing to work any shift (12 hour shifts on a 4/3/3/4 work week).  WaferTech is a fast paced semiconductor environment.  Our ideal candidate will exhibit excellent teamwork skills and demonstrate our four core values of Integrity, Customer Partnership, Innovation, and Commitment.

    Responsibilities:


    • Monitor and control daily production activities in one of 4 fab areas.

    • Coordinating equipment and process activity on the equipment.

    • Supervise and train direct labor in the manufacturing process.

    • Apply industrial engineering theories of general inventory control, work-in-progress ("WIP"), bottleneck management to reduce cycle times.

    • Facilitate equipment problem resolution

    Requirements:


    • SPC and Constraint management.

    Years of Related Experience/Educational Preferences:


    • A BS degree in Industrial Engineering field is required.

    • New college graduates are encouraged to apply.
