Frequently Asked Questions
|
|
- Q: I see a job that is a good fit with my skills. How do I apply?
- A: Once you've decided which position best matches your background and interest, please use the Online Resume Builder to submit a resume. Apply Online can be found at the top of the page for each position described on the Job Opportunities page.
- Q: I see three jobs on your website for which I am qualified. Should I apply to all three individually?
- A: Please apply only once, but list all the positions for which you wish to be considered on the Online Application under the “Cover Letter” section. We will then manually review your resume and will consider it for both current and future opportunities that may match your qualifications.
- Q: I looked at the job listings and didn’t see anything for which I am qualified. Should I send a resume anyway?
- A: We recommend you wait to apply until you find an opening for which you are both qualified and interested.
- Q: How long do I have to wait before I re-apply for a position?
- A: You can re-apply for reconsideration after six months if the position is still open at that time.
- Q: What happens to my resume after I submit it?
- A: If your resume is submitted for a current opening and is not a duplicate resume, it will be reviewed and you will be contacted for a telephone interview only if we're interested in learning more about you. A resume is considered to be a duplicate if it is submitted for the same opening within six months. Due to the large volume of resumes received, we are unable to keep you posted as to the status of your resume. We contact only those applicants we currently believe would be a good fit for WaferTech.
- Q: How does WaferTech's interview process work?
- A: After our initial resume screening process, WaferTech generally conducts one or two rounds of face-to-face interviews of candidates we wish to pursue. Our diligent interview process is an opportunity for you to learn as much about us as we learn about you.
- Q: What kind of training is provided for new hires?
- A: All new employees attend WaferTech's New Employee Orientation. Additional training, if needed, will depend upon the specific position for which you are hired. Please visit our Learning and Development page for additional information about learning opportunities at WaferTech.
- Q: Does WaferTech have internship opportunities?
- A: Please go to Job Opportunities to determine what positions may be available at this time. Hiring needs and internship opportunities will vary each year, depending upon business conditions and other factors.
